Is something bothering you? There's definitely something that's bothering me. This is my beef, what's yours?

Driving to Work

There is one thing that annoys me more than having to work for a living and that is the ride to work. Bear in mind I know I'm stupid for working an hour away from home but I still have the right to complain about traffic. I was getting used to my hour and twenty minute ride to work. I had a nice little routine going, flip the radio stations until 8 am and then start texting other people that were on their way to work. It was a boring routine but I liked it.
Here is my problem: my routine has been disturbed. There are a few factors that are responsible for ruining my routine and esentially ruining my life.
1) School is back in session for many schools in the surrounding area. This means that hundred of teachers need to go back to work, so they clog up the roads. Who would have guessed that someone who has been out of school for four years would still be affected by the summer ending. I sure as hell didn't expect that one.
2) Because school is in session that means that school buses are around. School buses are horrible. I know that they need to take precausions because they are transporting hundreds of children to school, but I'm still going to bitch about them. The one thing that really makes me mad is the fact that they flash their little red lights and swing out their stop sign arm and all traffic is expected to come to a complete stop. I don't always follow this rule, especially when I'm going in the opposite direction as the school bus and the children are standing on the bus' side. Why do I have to stop and wait for the kids to climb on to the bus. Do I really care if little Jimmy and Susan get on the bus? "Oh thank goodness the kids got on the bus, now my day is complete."
3) Construction. I feel that construction has been put on the earth to make me go insane. This morning alone, two new contruction projects have begun. Adding twenty minutes to my ride. The thing that angered me the most about today's contruction was that it was not a pressing issue. There has been contruction on the road I take every day for about two years and just when I thought it was over, they decided to build a new Jewel. Well, people can't go to Jewel without a road leading to it AND people can't get onto that road unless they turn and what do you need to make a turn? That's right kids a turning lane. It doesn't matter that there is a lane with a light about 50 yards away, they had to build a closer one so it went directly to Jewel. Don't get me wrong, I like Jewel but does it really need three entrances? And do they have to work on the roads during rush hour?
That's my Beef, deal with it!
